Pallavi is pure dance and implies elaboration; an exposition not only of the dance but also of the music that accompanies it. The graceful and lyrical movement of the dancer’s form is supported by intricate rhythm patterns of exceptional beauty. Together they create a beautiful tapestry of rhythm, music and movement.
The lord and master of the universe at whose direction the heavenly bodies moves in limitless space; the divine entity who cannot be fathomed by the human mind, who cannot be defined in any complete way by humanity since human language is inadequate to encompass is universal totality – he is the all forgiving - Allah - and an eternal presence in our lives. The uneducated, the untruthful, the insensitive and the coarse, they all flock to him in times of despair and confusion. The great Allah, the emperor of universe, accepts them all unconditionally. He banishes fear from the minds of men, he calms and soothes turbulent passions and illuminates the path of wisdom and right living. Such is the grace of the Almighty and we his humble children are the blessed beneficiaries of his benign and universal mercy.

As Sita, wife of Lord Rama crosses the forbidden lines of her destiny, Ravana kidnaps her to his aerial chariot, the Pushpaka Vimana, destroys the wings of Jatayu, and spirits Sita away to Lanka. The dying Jatayu, narrating the abduction of Sita, bemoans his inability to rescue her.
